Kenneth J. "Kenny" Berger

March 2, 1946 — January 25, 2024

Kenneth J. “Kenny” Berger, 77, of Danbury Township passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024 at his home. He was born March 2, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio the son of the late Clarence and Rose (Piwinski) Berger. Kenny was a State Highway Patrolman working out of the Sandusky Post. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Serving at Camp Lejeune as a Lance Corporal. He was a member of Elks Lodge 1718, Port Clinton where he was a Trustee for 29 years. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, watching The Ohio State Buckeyes football and the Cleveland “Indians” Guardians.

Surviving are his wife: Terri Patrick who he married on May 20, 2022; daughter: Jill (Frank) Polakowski of Flat Rock, MI; son: Brian (Annette) Berger of Illinois; step-daughter: Megan (Douglas) Wahlers of Oak Harbor; grandchildren: Zach, Abbey, A.J., Caleb, Carmen, Charlotte, Carissa, Rose, Braxton, Brently; brother: Paul (Carol) Berger of Cleveland; niece: Susan Ruther of Cleveland; nephew: Robert (Helen) Berger of Cleveland; great-niece: Jackie; great-nephew: Grant and his previous wife: Nancy Berger of Port Clinton. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Richard Berger.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Sackett Cemetery, Danbury Township. Fr. Joseph Szybka will be officiating. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.neideckercrosserpriesman.com .
