Kayleen N. Silverwood

April 15, 1947 — April 6, 2024

Kayleen Nora Silverwood, 76, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024 at University Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio.


She was born April 15, 1947 in Port Clinton, Ohio the daughter of the late William Silverwood and Shirley Gensel. Kayleen was a retired opticion of over 30 years and previously belonged to St. Johns Lutheran Church of Port Clinton. She never met a stranger, was an avid reader enjoying the adventures books offered and was a diamond art expert. She enjoyed meeting with old friends and new people at the Port Clinton Senior Center and was always up for anything. She enjoyed time with family and friends, movies, antique malls, shopping, and large Daiquiries. She was a beautiful person to befriend with her kindness, sassiness, silliness, she was funny and so so smart.


Surviving are her children: Son; Kelly Eugene DiCicco along with his Husband, David Kosar of Portland, Oregon, Son; Tony Alan DiCicco along with his wife, Kara DiCicco of Pemberville, Ohio, Daughter; Angela Elaine Coleman along with her Husband, Johnny Coleman of Stockbridge, Georgia, Daughter; Nicole Marie Crisp along with her Husband James Smith, Jr. of McDonough, Georgia; seven grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. Kayleen's surving siblings: Alan Walker of Port Clinton, Ohio, Vicky Mostafavi and her Husband Rassoul Mostafavi of Magnolia, Texas and Dale Gensel and his Wife, Patricia Gensel of Bowling Green, Ohio. Kayleen remained very close to her ex-husband: John DiCicco of California. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Glen Silverwood and Daniel Silverwood.


A Celebration of Kayleen’s Life is to be held at her beloved home on May 18th, 2024. The family will provide additional information in due course.
