Kathleen O'Connor

Kathleen A. "Katie" O'Connor, 69, of Marblehead, OH and formerly on Milan, OH died Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at her residence. She was born Jan. 30, 1941 in Fremont, the daughter of Myron and Eunice (Schoendorf) Minich. She married Thomas O'Connor in 1976 and he preceded her in death in 2004. Mrs. O'Connor was a self-employed house and pet sitter. She was an animal lover who enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, walking along the lake and attending her four grandchildren's functions. Surviving are her daughter Shannon (Jim Busdiecker) O'Connor of Gibsonburg, OH; grandchildren: Alyssa Morelock, Paige Morelock, Chloe Morelock and Braxton Bowes all of Gibsonburg; sister: Norma (James) Fought of Gibsonburg. She was preceded in death by her brother: Myron "Jack" Minich and sister: Betty Oprie. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, November 19, 2010 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, LakesideMarblehead, OH where visitation will be held Thursday from 4:00 7:00 pm. Burial will be in Sackett Cemetery, Danbury Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ottawa County Humane Society or Ex Libris Bookshop .
