Kathleen Goode

Kathleen Goode, 68, of Port Clinton, Ohio, died Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, Ohio. She was born on June 19, 1945 in Trenton, New Jersey, the daughter of Joseph & Philomena (Sisti) Silvestro. Kathy was a clerk at Magruder Hospital for 15 years, currently in the Surgery Department. She had a strong faith and was an active member of the Oak Harbor Alliance Chapel, where she was a deaconess and a prayer warrior. Kathy greatly loved cooking and made certain that no one left her house hungry. She was also faithful in remembering birthdays, anniversaries, and other occasions by sending cards to her friends and family members. On September 24, 1994, Kathy married Donald E. Goode, and he survives. Also surviving are her sons, Christopher Brengartner, Oak Harbor, Ohio and Scott Brengartner, Nelsonville, Ohio; daughter, Gena Glasspoole, Laurelville, Ohio; brother, Joseph Silvestro, New Jersey; 8 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren, She was preceded in death by her parents, and a grandson, Cameron. Family and friends are invited to call from 2-8 P.M. Friday at Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the Oak Harbor Alliance Chapel, with Pastor Paul Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Roose Cemetery, Salem Township, after which a luncheon will be served at the Alliance Chapel.
