Katherine Jensen

Katherine Jensen, 84, of Port Clinton, Ohio died on Sunday, December 25, 2011 at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton. She was born on October 20, 1927 in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of the late John "Jay" and Mabel (Lemmerman) Lafer. She married Fred Jensen on October 27, 1946 and he preceded her in death in 1993. Katherine was a homemaker and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton. Survivors include her son John Jensen, Port Clinton; daughters Dianne Jensen, Minneapolis, Minnosota and Vicki (Tom) Graham, Sandusky, Ohio; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter Karen Eagan. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 30, 2011 from 2-8 pm at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, Ohio. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2011 from 10 am until funeral services at 11 am at St. John Lutheran Church, 207 Adams Street, Port Clinton. Burial will follow in Catawba Island Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, or to the American Cancer Society.
