Karen A. (Myslinski) Smith

Karen Ann (Myslinski) Smith, 78, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, and formerly of Fremont, Ohio, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor. She was born in Fremont on August 25, 1940, a daughter of Andrew & Theresa Myslinski. Karen was a retired employee of the Bethesda Care Center, Fremont, and was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Oak Harbor. She was a former member of St. Anns Catholic Community, Fremont. On June 24, 1982, Karen married Ward Smith, and he survives. Also surviving are her sons, Chris Sherman, Green Springs, Ohio and Todd Sherman, Clyde, Ohio; daughter, Jody Marie Sherman, Toledo, Ohio; step sons, Andrew A. Smith, Austin, Texas, and Timothy A. Smith, serving in the U.S. Marines; step daughters, Jodi Lynn Sorg, Gibsonburg, Ohio, and Emmy Sue Morrow, Gahanna, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Judy and Diane Myslinski. Private family services will be held at a later date.
