June E. Chapman

June E. Chapman, 81, of Marblehead, Ohio died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born on October 31, 1931 in Holbrook, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Burton and Mildred (Hannon) White. On December 13, 1949 she married Vernon Chapman and he preceded her in death on May 31, 1970. June previously worked as a short order cook at the Peninsula Restaurant until her retirement in 1996. Her family was very important to her, and she was devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Survivors include her sons: Bob Chapman, Marblehead; Terry (Cindy) Chapman, Sandusky, Ohio; and Ron (Karla) Chapman, Marblehead; daughters: Karen (Simon) Stamper, Cornville, Maine; and Tami Chapman, Marblehead; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sister: Virginia Kellerhales, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother: Robert White. There will be no visitation or services as cremation has taken place. Private graveside services and burial in Sackett Cemetery, Danbury Twp. will be held at a later date.
