June Carr- Smith

June Carr Smith, 86, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2009 at her home in Rocky Ridge, OH. She was born June 26, 1923 in Toledo, OH to the late Ralph and Elvira (Goodman) Carr. June was a graduate of Waite High School and retired May of 1992 from Good Year/ Motor Wheel in Luckey, OH with 22 years of service. Survivors include sons: John Tingley, James (Debbie) Tingley, Jerry (Linda) Tingley, Jeff (Gay) Tingley, Melvin (Hildie) Tingley; daughters: June (Reg) Blackman, Violet Lorince (special friend Ralph White), Royan (David) Kaylor, Elvira Talmage (special friend Allen), Iona (Randy) Shammo; 25 grandchildren, 26 great- grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters: Violet, Leona, Iona, Elvira; brothers: Ralph, Edward, Melvin Carr; daughter Joy Tingley and 2 great- granddaughters. Graveside services will be held at 10am Friday, September 4, 2009 at Willow Cemetery on Pickle Rd., Oregon, OH. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, The American Heart Association, or Donor's Choice. Crosser Funeral Home, Elmore, is in charge of arrangements.
