June Austin

June Austin, 90, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Riverview Senior Health Care Campus in Oak Harbor, Ohio. She was born on February 9, 1928 in Mullens, West Virginia, a daughter of late William and Georgia (McKinney) Simpkins. June retired from Standard Products and was a member of Port Clinton Bible Methodist Church in Port Clinton. Survivors include her children, Robert Craig, Phyllis Sage, Deb Jadwisiak, Ron Peterlin, Kevin Peterlin; grandchildren, Shawn Craig, Scott Craig, Tammy Cochran, Thomas Summers, Tim Glorioso, Heidi Ohm, Brian Peterlin, Christopher Peterlin, Leona Howard, Amanda Proctor, Melody Hickle, Logan Peterlin; twenty-two great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Havener and Joan Kirkland. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sandie Makkos; sisters, Jackie Richter and Kay Simpkins; and brother, William Simpkins. Per Junes wishes, cremation has taken place. Graveside services will take place at Christy Chapel Cemetery, Portage Township, at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the donors choice.
