Julia Krawczyk, 91, of Port Clinton, Ohio, died Friday, April 16, 2010 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor, Ohio. She was born on December 18, 1918 in Port Clinton, Ohio, the daughter of Andrew and Lena (Chipka) Miklo. On September 25, 1939, she married Joseph Krawczyk and he preceded her in death on May 20, 1995. She worked at Gulas Market in Port Clinton as a cashier until her retirement. On August 30, 1931 she was confirmed at St. Paul Slovak Lutheran Church in Port Clinton where she was a member serving on various committees until its closing. She then joined St. John Lutheran Church in Port Clinton. Julie's pastimes included crocheting, needlepoint, and gardening. Survivors include her daughter: Joanne (Bob) Zam, of Port Clinton; grandchildren: Debra (Eric) Boutin, Joan (Brad) Hoffert, Robert Zam, Jr., Joseph (Allison) Zam, Julia (Greg) Fernandes, John (Kathy) Krawczyk, Jr.; eight great grandchildren; and sister: Mary Malik. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son: John Krawczyk and brothers: Andrew Miklo and John Miklo. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 19, 2010 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at St. John Lutheran Church, 207 Adams Street, Port Clinton until funeral services at 11:00 AM with Reverend James Lehman officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to St. John Lutheran Church.
