Judith Fick

Judith "Judy" Fick, 64, of Port Clinton, Ohio, died November 2, 2008 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio. She was born February 27, 1944 in Matewan, West Virginia. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years Burlyn Fick. They were married on March 4, 1967. Their three children Scott (Shari) Fick, Melinda (Chad) Stacy, and Timothy Fick, all of Port Clinton and stepson Thomas (Nan) Fick of Georgia. Grandchildren Mindy and Stephanie Fick, Jordan and Dylan Stacy, and Alex Fick. Sisters Lois (Eugene) Couture of Oak Harbor, Linda (Don) Wolf of Port Clinton, and Sue (Dave) Fritz of St. Marys, Ohio. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Winfield Spears and mother Ruth "Old Nana" Messner Spears, brothers William "Buddy" Spears and Larry Michael Spears and niece Tammy Couture. Judy was a loving sister, wife, mother, and grandmother (Nana). Her passion in life was her family, friends and their happiness. She enjoyed spending time with her family, whether it was playing cards or helping with homework. Judy's love for people allowed her to be a successful Customer Service Manager at Wal-Mart for over 15 years. She enjoyed every moment spent with others. Judy was always putting others first, showing this even after death as an organ and tissue donor. Visitation will he held at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 from 4-5 PM where memorial services will be held at 5 PM. Additional visitation will be held after the service until 6:00 PM. Family and friends are then invited to gather at Bay Township Hall for fellowship and refreshments.
