Judith Ann (Tack) Silverwood, 66, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 25, 2010 in Port Clinton, Ohio surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Port Clinton, the daughter of Harold and Leila (Hillman) Tack. Judy was a very proud graduate of Oak Harbor High School. On June 1, 1962 she was united in marriage with her loving husband, Robert G. Silverwood in Oak Harbor. Robert passed away February 25, 2005. Judy enjoyed working at the former Calvan Tools in Fremont, OH and most recently at the Dollar General Store in Port Clinton. She was a past member of the Eagles Aerie #712, Fremont, and she was a current member of the VFW Post #2480 in Port Clinton. Judy was also a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Port Clinton. Judy's greatest joy was her family, especially her 9 grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her mother: Leila Tack, of Oak Harbor; children: David (Debi) Silverwood of New Holland, Sherri (Brian) Winter of Fremont, Bobbie (Paul) Biller of Fremont, and Ronald Silverwood of Port Clinton. Judy was also blessed with grandchildren: Benjamin and Andrew (Malinda) Winter, Robert, Sarah, and Alexander Silverwood, Michael Chatman, and Elizabeth and Hannah Biller. She was also loved by a large family including many nieces and nephews. Judy was welcomed into Heaven by infant son Robert, Jr., father Harold, brother Ronald, and joyfully reunited with husband Bob. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2010 from 2-8 PM at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, where members of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post #2480, Port Clinton will conduct services at 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 29, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Reverend Mike Wiechers officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
