Joshua J. Caster

Joshua J. Caster, 28, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, died Saturday, May 31, 2008 at the University of Toledo Medical Center. He was born on January 14, 1980, the son of Ronald D. Caster, Jr. and Elizabeth Havens Caster. Josh attended Oak Harbor High School, and Penta County Vocational School. He was an employee of P & S Trailer Service, Helena, Ohio. An avid race car fan, Josh also enjoyed farming and the outdoors. He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth (Larry) Lacumsky, Oak Harbor; his father, Ronald D. Caster, Jr., Green Springs, Ohio; sisters, Jill Caster, Lakewood, Ohio, and Jenna Caster, Clyde, Ohio; step-sisters, Janet Harkness, Oak Harbor, Ohio, and Linda McGee, Valparaiso, Indiana; grandparents, Ronald, Sr. & Meg Caster, Green Springs, Ohio; Karl E. & Betty Havens, Fremont, Ohio; and great-grandmother, Vivian Maxine Caster, Apple Creek, Ohio. Josh was preceded in death by his grandmother, Janet Havens. The family will receive friends from 2-9 P.M. Tuesday at Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, where funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday. Rev. Larry Snyder will officiate, and interment will be in Roose Cemetery, Salem Township. A luncheon will be held at the Oak Harbor United Methodist Church following the service at the cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Joshua Caster Memorial Fund, Mid-County E.M.S., Portage Fire District, or the Oak Harbor United Methodist Church.
