Joseph R Kosztyo

Joseph R. Kosztyo, 50, of Lacarne, died Sunday at St. Charles Mercy Medical Center in Oregon. He was born September 7, 1958 in Port Clinton, the son of Stephen G. and Beverly J. (Schultz) Kosztyo. Joe was employed by Celotex until their closure and then by Barnes Nursery on Catawba and Scandura in Toledo until his illness no longer let him work. He was a member of the Moose Lodge 1610 of Port Clinton and was an avid duck and deer hunter. Surviving is his wife Tina (DePotty) whom he married on June 3, 1989; daughters Cassandra Kosztyo of Lacarne and Shantel Shriver of North Carolina; son William DePotty of Florida; grandson Gabriel Shriver; sisters Becky (Tony) Angelona of Warren and Kathy (Dave) Jones of Catawba Island and brothers Steve (Babbette Green) Kosztyo and Tony (Cindy) Kosztyo both of Port Clinton. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 Wednesday at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton where funeral services will be at 11:30 am Thursday. The Rev. John C. Missler will officiate. Burial will follow in Catawba Island Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the Family.
