Joseph Henry Reiter

Joseph Henry Reiter, 63, of Port Clinton, Ohio, died Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky, Ohio. He was born on May 26, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of the late Henry Beeman and Marie (Ralbovsky) Reiter. He was previously an independent contractor for the American Yacht and Marine Business on Catawba Island. Survivors include his longtime companion: Christine Schenk; daughters: Kelley Chaffin, Angela Rooney and Sarah Reiter; sons: Erik Reiter and Joseph Reiter, Jr.; grandchildren: Della Rooney, Devan Reiter, Cora Reiter, Donna Hartson, Mikey Kashmer, Tania Chaffin, Danny Chaffin, Billy Chaffin and Michael Chaffin; great-grandchildren: Summer Reiter, Kierra Hartson and Mark Hartson, Jr.; sister: Carin Russell; and ex-wife: Michele Mercurio. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service to celebrate Joe's life will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 10am at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, Ohio with Reverend John C.
