John Vrotsos, Jr., 79, of Port Clinton died Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton. He was born on January 1, 1927, in Genoa, Ohio, the son of the late John, Sr. & Elizabeth Vrotsos, He was employed at the Mon Ami, Catawba Island, for 18 years, retiring in June 2002. His hobbies included bowling, fishing, & sports. He was an avid Detroit Tigers, Lions, & Red Wings fan. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. Surviving are his sisters: Elizabeth Patchett and Mary Macko, both of Port Clinton, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Nicola Vrotsos, and brother-in-laws: Tom Patchett and John “Yano” Macko. At his request, there will be no visitation or services. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton. Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton is handling arrangements.
