John N. Lawrence, 90, of Lakeside-Marblehead, OH and formerly of Cleveland, OH passed away May 13, 2020 at Jennings Center for Older Adults, Garfield Heights, OH. John served in the United States Air Force as a flight instructor during the Korean War and then continued his service to his country in the Air Force Reserves retiring at the rank of Lt. Col. He was a salesman for St. Regis Paper Company and also Stone Container. Beloved husband of Jane M. Lawrence who he married on April 1, 1976; father of Wendy (Tony) Bentley of Tampa, FL, William (Michealene) Lawrence of Huron, John (Kim) Lawrence of Rocky River, Connie (Scott) Morris of Fairview Park, OH, Richard (Susan) Lawrence of Bay Village, Thomas (Kerry) Lawrence of Westlake; step-father of Nancy (Gene) VonDrak of Sagamore Hills, OH, Jane (David) Armstrong of Windsor, OH; grandfather and great-grandfather to many. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, private family prayer services will be conducted Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 Barclay St. Marblehead, OH with interment at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, Marblehead, OH.
