John M. Dunn

John M. Dunn, 79, of Port Clinton, OH, died Friday, September 1, 2006 at his home. He was born on July 31, 1927 in Greene County, Tennessee, a son of the late A.T. & Mary E. (Ball) Dunn. Mr. Dunn was a paint machine operator at U.S. Gypsum for 36 years, retiring in 1989. On September 15, 1950, he married the former Annie Ragle, and she preceded him in death on June 5, 1996. Surviving him are his sons, John (Virginia) Dunn, Toledo, OH, Randall (Kenna) Dunn, Port Clinton, Richard Dunn, Port Clinton, Jimmy (Jacqueline) Dunn, Oak Harbor, Steven (Cathryn) Dunn, Oak Harbor, Jerry (Amy) Dunn, Danbury Township; daughters, Donna (Jerry) Fick, Port Clinton, and Kimberly (Jeff) Cutcher, Gibsonburg, OH; 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul (Frankie) Dunn, and Lawrence (Sandra) Dunn, both of Port Clinton. He was preceded in death by a sister, Nell Ryans, and brothers, Frank Dunn, and James Dunn. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Sunday at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton, where funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 4, 2006. Rev. Peter Dodd will officiate, and interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton. Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice or a charity of the donor’s choice.
