John J. Ludrowsky, Jr., 79, of Port Clinton, died December 28, 2009 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton. He was born Jan 14, 1930 the son of the late John J. and Mary (Yakobison) Ludrowsky, Sr. He married Betty Dunn on Feb. 20, 1954 and she survives. Mr. Ludrowsky worked for Port Clinton Manufacturing from 1955 until 1994. He also worked at the BP Gas Station in Port Clinton from 1970 until 1996. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Korean War. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton Elks, V.F.W. Post 2480 Life Member and United States Bowling Congress. He was a sports enthusiast and he enjoyed building model airplanes. Surviving are his wife: Betty; daughters: Carol (James) Puffenberger of Fremont, Barbara (Dave) Bell of Marysville, OH; grandchildren: James Puffenberger of Tiffin, Amy Jo (Jason) Sisler of Perrysburg; sisters: Mary McCartney of Ill, Ann Rusinkovich of Port Clinton, Elizabeth Walland of Port Clinton, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Frank, Edward, and Clifford Ludrowsky; sisters: Agnes Burcher, Lucille Bell, Margaret Adams, and Lillian Ludrowsky. Graveside services will be held at a later date at Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton, OH.
