John Albert Held, 66, of Middle Bass Island and formerly of Asheville, OH died July 10, 2013. Born Dec. 13, 1946 he married Karen Lee Knode on May 13, 1967 and she survives. Mr. Held worked for Kalkan Foods in Columbus. Surviving are his wife: Karen; son: Jason (Aimee) Held of Asheville, OH; grandchildren: Morgan and Addyson. He was preceded in death by his father: William J. Held. Memorial contributions may be given to Middle Bass Island Vol. Fire Department.
