John Grady

John J. “Jack” Grady, 75, of Marblehead, OH, died Thursday, August 2, 2007 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center in Port Clinton. He was born July 14, 1932 in Cleveland, the son of John J. & Ann B. (Chvatel) Grady, Sr. who preceded him in death. Jack was retired from the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company after 40 years. He was a medic with the US Army during the Korean War and was a member of the VFW Post 7572 of Marblehead. Surviving is his sister, Barbara Kowalski of Fairview Park, OH and his brother, Michael P. Grady of Lakewood, OH and 7 nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 9–11 A.M. Tuesday at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, Lakeside-Marblehead, followed by graveside services at 11 A.M. in Sackett Cemetery, Danbury Township. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the VFW Post 7572 of Marblehead. Memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of the donor's choice.
