John D. Schiewe

John D. Schiewe, 75, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, OH. He was born October 15, 1949 in Port Clinton, the son of Kenneth and Evelyn (Seawater) Schiewe. John retired from Drawbridge Marina in Port Clinton where he was the parts manager. He was an accomplished carver and wood worker and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a United States Army veteran and a member of the Port Clinton V.F.W. and Eagles Lodge Aerie No. 2295 Port Clinton.

Surviving are his son: Adam (Rachel Petrilli) Schiewe of Port Clinton; sister: Mary Rohde of Catawba Island and his ex-wife: Karen (Mike Herbert) Schiewe of Gypsum, OH.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Christy Chapel Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH with Port Clinton V.F.W. presenting Military Honors.
