Joel Keith Krynock

Joel Keith Krynock, 60, of Lakeside, died unexpectedly on Monday March 10, 2008 at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton. He was born October 5, 1947 in Port Clinton, the son of Joseph and Harriet (Hetrick) Krynock. Keith was a 1965 graduate of Danbury High School and graduated from Baldwin Wallace College. He was employed for over 38 years at LaFarge North America (formerly Standard Slag Company) and was a member of the local chapter of the United Steelworkers. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Marblehead, a social member of the VFW Post 7572 of Marblehead, was an avid Ohio State fan and just loved helping everyone in any way he could. Surviving are his wife Diane (Biglin) whom he married on October 14, 1989; his mother Harriet Krynock of Lakeside; brother Kent (Lori) Krynock of Fremont; sisters Bonnie (Bruce) Shank of Fremont and Marsha Helin of Lakeside; special aunts and uncle, Margaret Silverwood and Jane and George Krynock; his extended family from the Shelby area including his father and mother-in-law, Lawrence and Mary Alice Biglin; brothers-in-law Robert Biglin, Richard (Pat) Biglin and Ronald (Penny) Biglin and sisters-in-law Linda (Yogi) Moore and Janice (Mark) Wolford and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph and a sister Nedra Cassidy. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, Marblehead where funeral services will be at 11 am Friday. The Rev. Chris Young will officiate. Burial will follow in Sackett Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John Lutheran Church or for Mass Intentions to be said in Keith's name.
