Joel Cal, Sr.

Joel Cal, Sr. 69, of Middletown and formerly of Port Clinton, OH passed away Feb. 13, 2020 at Atrium Medical Center, Middletown, OH. He was born Dec, 1, 1950 in Chicago, IL the son of Willie and Luella (Lloyd) Cal. He was previously married to Mamie D. Bulger. Joel worked at the former Standard Products in Port Clinton, OH. Surviving are his sons: Jerry Bulger of Kettering, OH, Joel Cal, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ; daughters: Angiette Bulger of Cleveland, OH, Asia Cal of Norwalk, OH; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers: John Cox of Port Clinton, Melvin Cox of Port Clinton; sister: Selena Mack of Middletown, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Little Willie Cal, Billy Cox, Vernon Cal; sister: Augusta Watson; grandparents: Augusta Williamson and Willie Lloyd. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 noon Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Erie Shores Assembly of God, 220 S. Gill Rd. Port Clinton, OH where visitation will be held Saturday from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH.
