Jody L. Chevalier

Jody L. Chevalier, 51, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the Toledo Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. She was born on January 20, 1966 in Germany, the daughter of John and Rita (Gezann) Lockhart. On May 25, 2002 she married Donald Joseph Chevalier and he survives. Jody was currently working as a mixologist and waitress at the Elks Lodge #1718 in Port Clinton. When she wasn't working, Jody enjoyed going to WWE wrestling events in Toledo, Cleveland and Columbus. She was an avid fan of Michael Jackson, Prince, and Bob Segar, and enjoyed listening to their music. She also loved being on the water, and most recently could be seen out on the Sandusky Bay on her jet ski. She loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandson, Jaxon. Jody is survived by her husband, Donald; son, David (Danielle) Deemer, Port Clinton; grandson, Jaxon Deemer; mother, Rita Lockhart, Port Clinton; sisters, Janine Spindler, Port Clinton and Jaquie McCann, Marblehead; and nephews, Christopher (Michelle) Lockhart and Jonathan McCann. She was preceded in death by her father. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, Ohio from 1pm until a memorial service at 4pm with Pastor John Holly officiating.
