Jerome Jerry Turinsky

Jerome J. "Jerry" Turinsky, 54, of Marblehead, OH died Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at his residence. He was born Oct. 6, 1959 in Port Clinton, the son of Coleman and Anna (Richick) Turinsky. He married Renee Sauvey on April 19, 1980 and she survives. Jerry worked for Standard Products until it closed and he has worked for Biro Manufacturing for the last 22 years. He also operated his own marina Turinsky's West Side Marina. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, a social member of the Marblehead V.F.W., Ducks Unlimited and he played in the pool league. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, riding his Harley-Davidson Motorcycle and playing with his grandson: Drake. Surviving are his wife: Renee; son: Ryan (Julie) Turinsky of St. Louis, MO; daughter: Char Turinsky of Marblehead, grandson: Drake, father: Coleman Turinsky of Marblehead, brothers: Michael (Brenda) Turinsky of Marblehead, Stephen (Mimi) Turinsky of Marblehead, sisters: Carol (Newberry) Mitchell of Marblehead, Pauline (Michael) O'Toole of Ormond Beach, FL, Mary (Terry) Slauterbeck of Marblehead, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother: Anna Turinsky. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Monday, August 4, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, OH. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00 8:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. LakesideMarblehead, OH. Additional visitation will be held Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church from 9:00 10:00 am. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, Marblehead, OH.
