Jerome D. Womeldorf

Jerome D. Womeldorf, 63 of Port Clinton, OH and formerly of Mansfield, OH, died Saturday, August 19, 2006 at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton. He was born September 22, 1942 in Rising Sun, Ohio, a son of Douglas & Rosemarie (Quickle) Womeldorf. Jerome was retired from the Boehring Manheim Company. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Elk’s Lodge #1718 of Port Clinton and was past president of the Womeldorf Family Association. He enjoyed boating, fishing and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. Surviving are his wife, the former Carol Hildebrand whom he married on August 1, 1964; daughters, Heidi Blodgett of Gallipolis, OH and Julia Bene of Willoughby Hills, OH; granddaughters, Katharine and Sarah Blodgett, and a brother John Womeldorf of Delaware, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. Wednesday until the time of services at 12 noon Wednesday at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fellowship of Faith.
