Jeralyn Grieger

Jeralyn Grieger, 79, of Oak Harbor, OH died Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. She was born June 13, 1932 in Monticello, KY, the daughter of the late Vernie and Eunice (Harper) Burdine. She married Ernest E. Grieger on Dec. 26, 1948 and he preceded her in death on Dec. 11, 1997. Mrs. Grieger was a seamstress and she worked as a nurse's aid at Riverview Nursing Home, Oak Harbor. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ where she sang in the choir. Surviving are her daughter: Linda L. Grieger of Oak Harbor; son: David (Mary) Grieger of Maumee, OH; grandchildren: Wesley Grieger, Charity Loope, Cheryl Cook; great-grandchildren: Ellaina Greiger, David Jessee, Miranda Wadsworth, Thomas Loope, Taylor Loope; brothers: Jess (Mardella) Burdine of Oak Harbor, Alvin Burdine of Salt Lake City, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson: James Dwayne; brother: Aulbort Burdine; sisters: Carolyn Pridemore and an infant sister Lilly. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor where visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Pastor Kyle Timmons will be officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor, OH. Memorial contributions may be give to St. Paul United Church of Christ or Stein Hospice, Sandusky, OH.
