Jefferey D. Sloan, 43, of Marblehead, OH died Friday, November 29, 2013 as the result of a automobile accident. He was born July 31, 1970 in Eloise, MI. Mr. Sloan worked at LaFarge North America in Marblehead, OH. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Port Clinton and the N.R.A. Surviving are his parents: Brenda and Samuel Resendec of Marblehead, OH; fianc: Michelle Cooley of Port Clinton; sister: Kimberly (Rene) of Port Clinton; sister: Rubie Resendec of San Antonio, TX; brother: Able Resendec of Carrizo Springs, TX; nephews: Thomas (Natalie) Clifton and Ryan Clifton both of Marblehead, OH; great-niece: Adaline Clifton; aunts and uncles: Deborah and Ron Woody of Decatur, TN, Pam and Gary Pietrowski of Belliville, MI, Harold and Jackie Warren of Scottshill, TN and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Alfred and Shirley Warren; aunt and uncle: Betty and Larry Brasher and cousin Kevin Braodway. Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Grace Baptist Church, Port Clinton with Pastor Peter Dodd officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2:00 4:00 and 6:00 8:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, LakesideMarblehead, OH.
