Jeannine B. Sievert, 74 of Graytown, OH passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Mercy- St. Charles Hospital, Oregon, OH surrounded by all of her loved ones. She was born December 27, 1946 in Port Clinton, OH to the late Harvey Schlipf and Marian (Krouse) Foreman. She was a graduate of Oak Harbor High School. On October 24, 1964 she married the love of her life Donald W. Sievert. She was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Bono, OH. Jeannine started her career path by working as a telephone operator, followed by 10 years at Lathems Super Value in Genoa, OH, before retiring from Davis-Besse in 2003. Jeannine enjoyed traveling, fishing, going to casinos, and was passionate about attending her children and grandchildren’s sporting events. She was also known to be one of the best pie and cookie bakers around! She could frequently be seen driving around Graytown in “Jeanie’s Rover Golf Cart”. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Donald of Graytown, OH; children: Connie (Rick) Goldstein, Jeff (Deana) Sievert, and Michelle (Adam) Roberts, all of Graytown; grandchildren: Greg, Ashley, Spencer, Olivia, Tyler, Trevor, Hope, Ally, Peyton, Camden, Reece, and Case; brother Galen, and sister Annette Zappone. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Wayne Schlipf, and father & mother –in- law Donald and Rose Sievert. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-9 PM at Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 301 N. Locust St., Oak Harbor, where Evening Prayer Services will begin at 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM Monday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 1105 Elliston Road, Martin, OH, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Following the services a luncheon will be held at the Eagles Nest, 210 Jefferson Street, Oak Harbor, OH 43449.
