Jeannette T. Klacik

Jeannette T. Klacik, 67, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed peacefully at home on Monday, March 29, 2010 with her family by her side, after her courageous battle with cancer. She was born on November 23, 1942 in Fair Oaks, Indiana, the daughter of the late Robert and Estella (Randolph) Northcutt. On May 13, 1961 she married Joseph "Bob" Klacik, and he survives. Jeannette was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Port Clinton, where she was active in hospitality for the vacation bible school. She was also a member of the Port Clinton Women of the Moose Lodge#1610. She was an avid cook, and especially enjoyed catering for her friends and family. She was also a Longaberger Basket collector. Most importantly, she loved her family and she was a devoted guardian mother to several children. Survivors include her husband, Joseph "Bob"Klacik; daughters: Lesia Ann Klacik, of Oak Harbor, OH and Kristine Klacik, of Port Clinton, OH; grandson: Nick Klacik, of Port Clinton, OH; brothers: Robert Donnie (Pam) Northcutt, of Demotte, Indiana and Tony Northcutt, of Rensselaer, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents; son: Terry Klacik; and twin infant sisters: Sheila Sue and Diana Lou. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Grace Baptist Church, 4650 E. Port Clinton Eastern Road, Port Clinton, OH, with Pastor Peter Dodd officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Baptist Church or to Hospice of Memorial Hospital, 430 S. Main Street, Clyde, Ohio 43410.
