Jeannette L. Lincoln, 87 formerly of Graytown, OH and longtime resident of Elmore, died Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at her home in Clyde, OH surrounded by her family. She was born October 19th, 1936, in Gibsonburg, OH to the late Virgil and Opal (Avery) Myers. She was the beloved wife for 48 years of the late Harry R. Lincoln.

Jeannette’s parents moved her and her sister around due to her father's job. The family eventually settled in Elmore where Jeannette graduated from Harris- Elmore High School in 1954. She returned to Elmore from Columbus with her 3 children when she started working at Ohio Citizens Bank in Toledo, OH. She started as a clerk and then attended night school to help her eventually work her way up to supervisor of the mortgage lending department. When Jeannette decided to spend time at home with her children, she then started selling Avon and did for many years. Eventually she returned to banking where she worked till retirement at Genoa Savings and Loan in Genoa, OH.

As a long time member of Second Church of Christ Scientist of Toledo she was an active reader, a Sunday school teacher and a reading room clerk for many years. She also helped organize many church lectures. Jeannette especially enjoyed all the visitors in the church’s reading room that would come to ask questions and seek support. She was always willing to listen and provide any guidance she could to anyone.

She was very proud of her family and loved to say how they were all the Brady Bunch +2. She would frequently talk about the movies that came out when her and Harry got together that portrayed wonderful blended families like theirs.
