Jeanne Rebecah Kirby

Jeanne Rebecca Kirby, 97, of the Chalet at the Vineyard on Catawba, passed away on June 5, 2020. She was born on July 16, 1922 in Newville, Pennsylvania to William and Verdie Swartz. She grew up in Newville, and it remained "home" in her heart throughout her many moves and travels. On February 1, 1942 she married Lloyd Paul Kirby and they began an exciting life of living in many states, as well as Puerto Rico and Paris, France. Paul preceded her in death on April 22, 2007, as did her son William Kirby. She is survived by her daughter Paula Ladd (John) of Put-in-Bay. She will be buried in New Jersey, next to her husband and son.
