Jean M. Wilson

Jean M. Wilson, 83 of Port Clinton, OH died Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky, OH. She was born October 4, 1938 in Marion, OH to the late Benjamin and Alice (Gorenflo) Griffiths. Jean was a homemaker, she was happiest with a house full of family and friends. She had the biggest heart and always helped anyone she could without a second thought. She was an avid animal lover and had the biggest soft spot for dogs especially. Jean over the years enjoyed playing cards, fishing, cooking, cross word puzzles, and more recently playing games on her tablet. She loved old western movies and could be found most nights nibbling snacks in bed watching one of the many she has seen a million times. She enjoyed most spending time with her family. She had the best sense of humor and her laugh was contagious, her smile could light up any room! Survivors include her children: Terry (Chris) Keller of The Villages, FL, Denny (Ann) Keller of Marblehead, OH, Lynn (Jay) Silverwood of Port Clinton, OH, Tom Keller of Marblehead, and Bob (Kim) Keller of Port Clinton, OH; step-children: Cherrie Wilson, Shirley (Marty) Duffy, and Donny Wilson; sister Joyce (Harold ) Belt; grandchildren: Alison, April, Amanda, Charlotte, Chelsey, Ben, Gavin, Brandi, and Jaimi; great- grandchildren: Dylan, Baylee, Seth, Jaxson, Aragon, Guinevere, Tegan, Elliot, Finn, Kori, Wyatt, and Judd; and great- great grandson Rhyker. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband Edmund Wilson, brother Jack Griffiths, and sister Joan Robinson. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8pm at the Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel. A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date.
