Jean L. Wolfe

Jean L. Wolfe, 68, of Danbury Township, died Monday, October 18, 2010 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. She was born Dec. 16, 1941 the daughter of Louis and Cora (Dubbert) Offenberg. She married Robert G. King on Sept. 2, 1961 and he preceded her in death on Sept. 27, 1983. She later married Peter E. Wolfe on June 1, 1985 and he survives. She was a graduate of Danbury High School Class of 1960 and a member of The Chapel in Huron, OH. She was a LPN at Firelands Regional Medical Center retiring in 2002. She previously worked a Otterbein Northshore Retirement Village as a nurse and as a sales clerk at K-Mart and Sears in Sandusky. Surviving are her husband: Peter; sons: Gordon (Becky) King of Castle Rock, Co, Steven King of Port Clinton; daughter: Corinne (Jim) Gentry of Sandusky; step-sons Peter (Kay) Wolfe, Jr of Pennsylvania, Jason Wolfe of Las Vegas, Adam Wolfe of Las Vegas; step-daughter: Sara E. Wolfe of Las Vegas, Rachel (Lawrence) Wolfe-Douglas of Sandusky; grandchildren Carina Gentry, Courtney Gentry, Olivia King and Savanah King; step-grandchildren: Kyle Wolfe, Kelsey Wolfe, Connor Wolfe; four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband and great-granddaughter: Afton Gentry. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday. October 22, 2010 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, Lakeside--Marblehead, OH where visitation will be Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery, Danbury Township. Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society or the Alzheimers Association.
