Jean (Kukay) Dewey

Jean (Kukay) Dewey, 84, of Marblehead, OH passed away Friday, April 15, 2022 at Medina Meadows, Medina, OH. She was born August 9, 1937 in Berea, OH the daughter of John and Jean (Gugala) Kukay. She married Robert E. Dewey on February 23, 1957 and he preceded her in death on June 29, 2012. Jean was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead and the Marblehead V. F. W. Auxiliary. Surviving are her daughter: Debra (Joe Demeter) Dewey of Medina, OH; son: Duane Dewey of Medina, OH; grandchild: Henna Hulme of Medina, OH; great-grandchildren: Lillie, Heidi and Benny; brother: Tom Kukay of Medina. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. John Missler at 10:00 am Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 Barclay St. Marblehead, OH with visitation at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 am until the Mass. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Marblehead, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to the Marblehead V. F. W. Auxiliary.
