Jean Ann Adams

Jean Ann Adams, 64, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, died Friday at her residence. She was born on January 12, 1943, the daughter of Alvin B. & Dorothy S. (Benroth) Augsburger. A long time teacher at Oak Harbor High School, Ann was in charge of the TEAM program. After her retirement in 2004, she became a Reiki Master and was also a teacher of Reiki. Ann enjoyed bird watching and loved spending time with her friends, especially their trips to the Detroit and Windsor casinos. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandson, Lucas. On September 11, 1964, she married Jan E. Adams, and he preceded her in death on August 17, 2003. Ann is survived by her children, Becky (Steve) Hart of Toledo, and Ben (Serena) Adams, Victor, Idaho, and her grandson, Lucas Benjamin Hart. Also surviving are many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. A celebration of Ann’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 27, 2007 at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor.
