Jean A. Huebner

Jean A. Huebner, 99, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Monday, September

26, 2022 at Otterbein North Shore. She was born April 11, 1923 in

Rocky Ridge, OH the daughter of Edward and Denelda (Carsten) Blocky.

She graduated from Libbey High School in Toledo, OH and she was a

member of St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton, OH. She married

Bernard C. Huebner on April 21, 1945 and he preceded her in death on

January 17, 2014. Jean retired from the Ottawa County Health

Department.

Surviving are her children: Janice J. (John) Meachen of Wausau, WI,

Thomas E. (Judy) Huebner of Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren: Jennifer

(Mark) Mitchell of Stevens Point, WI, Jeffry (Bethany) Meachen of

Chippawa Falls, WI, Eric (Lucy) Huebner of Bristol, WI, Kyle (Johnnie)

Huebner of Winder, GA; great-grandchildren: Hazel Mitchell, Emma

Meachen, Benjamin Meachen, Kalob (Jessica) Corley, Krista Corley;

great-great-granddaughter: Lillian Rose Corley; her special caregiver

Elma Cuevas who will be caring for her dog “Ziva” now and lifelong

family friend Richard Celek of Port Clinton, OH.

Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 pm Thursday, September 29,

2022 at Catawba Island Cemetery. Rev. Jarrod Schaaf will be

officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to St. John Lutheran

Church, 207 Adams St. Port Clinton, OH 43452 or the donor’s choice.
