Jaqueline M. Richter

Jaqueline M. Richter, 76, of Port Clinton, OH died January 30, 2006 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, OH. Mrs. Richter was born December 31, 1929 in Mullens, WV, the daughter of the late William and Georgia (Mullens) Simpkins. Mrs. Richter worked at New Departure General Motors Plant, Sandusky, OH. She was a member of Brush Arbor Church, Gypsum, OH, where she was the church secretary. Mrs. Richter was a member of the Danbury and Port Clinton Senior Centers and the Make a Friend Club. She enjoyed painting. Surviving are her son, Bryce Richter of Toledo, OH; daughters, Peggy Owen of Port Clinton, OH, Patty Cassese of Brunswick, OH, Connie Magierski of Port Clinton and Barb (Miles) Boss of Port Clinton; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Joann (Rex) Kirkland of Blue Springs, MO, Ruby Havener of Port Clinton, June Austin of Port Clinton; and sister-in-law Hilda Simpkins of Oak Harbor. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bill Simpkins. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton, where the family will receive friends after noon on Wednesday. Rev. Deron Fourman will officiate, and interment will be in Christy Chapel Cemetery, Portage Township. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
