Janet Marie Buhrow

Janet Marie Buhrow, 82, of Armstrong, MO., died Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO. She was born November 1, 1927 to the late William and Minnie (Ninke), Reif. On September 19, 1947 she married Howard Buhrow who preceded her in death, October 18, 1997. Mrs. Buhrow was a past member of the Armstrong Methodist Church. She was an avid volunteer, often making holiday cards and hospital favors for people. Survivors include her daughters: Diana (Jerome) Kokoschke of Blooming Prairie, MN, Rosanne (Mike) Thornton and Barb (Glenn) Gregory both of Armstrong, MO; son: Russ Buhrow of Tucson, AZ; Grandchildren: Bill Kokoschke, Kaylene Jensen, Karissa Cravens, Matthew, Andrew, and Jonathan Thornton, Adam Gregory, Nicole Smith, Danny and Athena Buhrow; eight great- grandchildren; brother: Melvin (Norma) Reif of Graytown, OH; and brother- in- law: Robert (Delores) Buhrow. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Willis Reif. Funeral Services will be officiated by Rev. Lowell Peters at 3:30pm, Sunday, August 15, 2010 at Trinity United Church of Christ, Elliston, where the family will receive friends beginning at 2pm at the Church. Burial will be in Elliston Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American College of Rheumatology and Education Foundation or Trinity United Church of Christ.
