Janet M. Tuckerman

Janet M Tuckerman, 75, of Elmore, OH and formerly of Delta, OH died Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born January 26, 1936 in Wauseon, OH to the late Marion W. and Helen E.(Sanderson) Arnold. She was a 1954 graduate of Delta High School and received her teaching certificate from Concordia College in Fort Wayne, IN. Janet owned and operated "The Barn Restaurant" in Delta for about a decade before providing house cleaning services from which she retired in 2010. She was a member of Shoreline Church, Oak Harbor who loved to walk, gamble, and play bingo. Survivors include her daughters: Gail (Jared) Canfield of Elmore, OH and Cindy (Doug) Gottwald of Lake Ann, MI; sister Lois Peabody of Delta; grandchildren: Matt, Tyler, and Kimberley Canfield, Jon, Ben, and Elizabeth Gottwald; and niece Molly LaMountain. She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Dinah Marie Gottwald and Nephew Steven LaMountain. Private Graveside services will be held in Delta Cemetery, Delta, OH.
