Jane Taylor

Fredericka Jane (Howard) Taylor, 83 formerly of Elmore, OH went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Otterbein of Perrysburg. She was born June 18, 1938 in Hyattsville, MD the daughter of the late Frederick and Helen Emily (Pafenbach) Howard. She was a 1956 graduate of Elmore High School. Following High School, she enlisted in the United States Navy where she trained as a nurse and also met her future husband George Elias. After her military years, Jane enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her family. Over the years her hobbies included traveling, reading, baking, crafts and gardening. Jane attended the Elmore Church of God and also attended The Church of the Nazarene in Whitney, TX for many years. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Tracy (Richard) Christel of Perrysburg, OH, Dawn Miller of Genoa, OH, and Zaidan Taylor of Genoa, OH; grandchildren: Matthew Miller and Nathan (Alexi) Elias. She was preceded in death by her husband George Elias, husband Tom Taylor, son Thomas Elias, brother John Howard, sister Sarah Dusseau, and grandchildren Corey and Mark Miller. Visitation will begin at 10:00am on Friday, June 10, 2022 at the Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home, 19550 W. State Route 51, Elmore, OH until the time of Services which will begin at 11:30am. Burial will be in Harris- Elmore Union Cemetery, Elmore. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Ottawa County Humane Society or a charity of the Donor’s Choice.
