Jane J. Mcintire

Jane J. McIntire, 93, of Oak Harbor, OH, and formerly of Georgetown, TX, and Dayton, OH, died Saturday, December 2, 2006 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor. She was born in Escanaba, MI on April 28, 1913, a daughter of the late Charles & Ethel (White) Jacobson. Jane graduated from high school in Milwaukee, WI, attended Western University for Women, and later graduated from the University of Dayton. She taught language arts at Van Buren Junior High School in Dayton. On September 3, 1933, she married Wilbur S. McIntire, and he preceded her in death on May 11, 1983. Jane is survived by her children, Cynthia Randt, Owosso, MI, Thomas (Annette) McIntire, Nokomis, FL, Mary Jane McIntire, Oak Harbor, OH, and Stephen (Roberta) McIntire, of Texas. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 15, 2006 at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, OH with the Rev. John F. Koepke of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Dayton, OH, officiating.
