Jane A. Buhro

Jane A. Buhro, 83 of Oak Harbor, OH died Saturday, March 2, 2024 at her home. She was born December 20, 1940 in Gibsonburg, OH to the late George and Florence (Hansen) Weddell. She was a 1959 graduate of Woodville High School. On June 22, 1961 she married Loren Buhro, and he survives. Jane retired from the Fremont School System in 1999 as a cook. She was a past member of Faith Lutheran Church, Fremont. She was also a member of NODPA (Northern Ohio Draft Pony Association). She enjoyed making rag rugs with her mother and sister called “Weddell Barn Weavers”.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years Loren of Oak Harbor, OH; children Les (Terra) Buhro of Oak Harbor, OH and Jodi (Ernest) Stone of Helena, OH; grandchildren: Logan Stone, Hayden & Hayley Buhro; and sister Jean Ackerly. She was also preceded in death by her sister Lois Base.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2-8pm at Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 11am on Monday, March 11, 2024 at the Funeral Home.
