James Robert Clemons

James Robert Clemons, "Strawberry", 56, of Port Clinton, Ohio died with his family at his side, Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio. He was born on September 10, 1955 in Port Clinton, the son of Robert and Mary (Kinney) Clemons. He worked as a yardmaster for Clemons Boats in Bay View, Ohio. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton. He enjoyed boating, swimming, spending time with his family, and helping others. Survivors include his daughter: Amanda Clemons (Jeffrey Dove), Marblehead; son: Kevin Lowe, Port Clinton; sisters: Carol Clemons, Port Clinton; Sally (John) Cipiti, Port Clinton; Mary Clemons (Chad Martin), Whidbey, Washington; brothers: Daniel (Vicky) Clemons, Port Clinton; and John (Sandy) Clemons, Marblehead. He was preceded in death by his mother: Mary Clemons and his former wife: Theresa (Edmonds) Clemons. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2012 from 2-6pm at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 23, 2012 at 10am at the funeral home with Father John C. Missler officiating.
