James R. Stewart

James R. Stewart, 78, of Oak Harbor, died Sunday, June 24, 2007 at Riverview Senior Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor. He was born September 30, 1928 in Transfer, PA. to the late Ellis and Alice (Deevers) Stewart. On August 25, 1962 he married the former Ina Mae Lamale. Mr. Stewart worked for the former Uniroyal Corporation in Port Clinton for over 20 years. He was a member of the Port Clinton Church of the Nazarene. He was the past treasurer of his local Union, participated in Bible study at Riverview and enjoyed spending time outside. Survivors include his wife Ina of Oak Harbor, daughters: Linda (Ron) Witt of Genoa, OH, Barb Taylor of Meyerstown, PA, Donna (Carl) Wright of Dianna, TX, brother Ellis (Irene) Stewart of Hermitage, PA, and 8 grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at the Crosser Funeral Home, Elmore Chapel where the family will receive friends after 10am. Interment will be in Harris- Elmore Union Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Bethel United Brethren Church.
