James P. Mcgee, Jr.

James P. McGee, Jr. 67, of Port Clinton, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 8, 2021 at his home. He was born March 28, 1954 in Port Clinton, the son of the late James P. and Vera Viola (Long) McGee, Sr. He married Debera Gail Dunn on September 4, 1993 and she survives. Jim worked for Sandusky Metal Cabinets, United States Gypsum and Humanetics Innovative Solutions. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Oak Harbor, OH and the Dad’s Club of Port Clinton. He was an expert woodworker, making furniture, dishes and many items to share with his family. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Surviving are his wife: Debera; children: Kristinia (Jeffery) Hutchinson of Oak Harbor, James Michael (Amanda Andrews) McGee of Monroeville, Aaron Douglas (Mallory) McGee of Serville, TN; grandchildren: Brody Quinn McGee, Destiny Samms, Hunter Hutchinson, Ryatt Hutchinson, Lincoln McGee and One on the way; brother: Bobby (Colleen Cook) McGee of Port Clinton; sister: Lelia (Jim) Hembree of Port Clinton. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Becky Fritz. Visitation will be conducted Monday, April 12, 2021 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Futon St. Port Clinton, OH.
