James L. Ray

James L. Ray, 72, of Port Clinton and formerly of Delaware, OH died April 27, 2010 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. He was born Dec. 22, 1937 in Delaware the son of James and Mae (Bright) Ray. He worked in the maintenance department for Abex-Denison, Delaware, OH. He loved to Fish and hunt. Surviving are his son: Michael Ray; grandchildren: April L. Ray, Michael J. Ray, Jr., Jazmine N. Ray and James M. Ray; step-sons: James, John, and Joseph Burgess; step-daughters: Jackie and Jennifer Burgess; step-grand children Mellisa Carol, Christopher Carol and John Burgess, Jr.; nephews: John, Christopher and James Ray; niece Tammy Christ. He was preceded in death by his Wife: Nina (Wagner); brother John C. Ray, sisters: Gaynle Ray and Karen Christ. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, April 30, 2010 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton where visitation will be held Friday from 10:00 11:00 am. Memorial contributions may be given to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
