James L. Oginski, 74, of Germfask, MI, died Thursday, April 10, 2008 at St. Charles Mercy Hospital in Oregon, OH. He was born April 16, 1933 in Dearborn, MI to the late Joseph and Victoria (Pokropowicz) Oginski. On October 24, 1959 he married Ann Maltby and she survives. James worked for Triple Seals in Dearborn, MI as a Tool & Die Maker retiring in 1978. He was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church in Curtis, MI and the Curtis Area Chamber of Commerce. He enjoyed fishing and cooking. Survivors include his wife of 48 years Ann of Germfask, MI, son Jim Oginski of Newberry, MI; daughters: Teri Boughton of Belleville, MI, Connie VonGlahn of Oak Harbor, OH, Vicky Hyuck of St. Ignace, MI; brother Donald Oginski of Northville, MI; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Joseph Oginski. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30am Monday, April 14, 2008 at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor.
