James L. Christen, Sr., 79, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, died Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital, Oregon, Ohio. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 11, 1934, a son of Charles Fox & Lillian (Bouquet) Fox. A welder for many years, he worked in metal fabrication. Surviving is a son, Earl (Rusty) Christen, Toledo, Ohio; sister, Donna Barry, Oak Harbor, Ohio; and brother, Bernard Christen, Marion, Ohio. Preceding him in death were his parents, step-father, Earl Christen, and sons, Jeffrey and James Christen. Interment will be private at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, Ohio.
